I MISS MY GRANDMA
She made an afghan before I was born,
She made an afghan to keep me warm.
She was there when needed, to hold me close,
She was there when I needed her the most.
She had a laugh I can hear today,
She had a smile that will never fade away.
She will always be close in my heart,
She will always be with me, even now that we are apart.
I still have that afghan after 54 years
I know it can help wipe my tears.
