Cindy, I just wanted to tell you and your girls how sorry I am for your loss.
Even though we haven't seen each other for a long time, your family will always hold a special place in my heart. You and Mike always made me feel like I was a part of your family. I have missed you guys so much throughout the years.
Please call me if you need anything at all, or if you just want someone to talk to. I know that Tim and the rest of your family will be there for you and help raise that beautiful grand baby of yours!! (He is adorable!)
You are always in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you Mike - I know we will see you again some day!!
Love, Jullie Lanig

We are so sorry for your loss. We feel like we know Mike and his family from stories shared by Terry & Chris. He must have been a wonderful person who will be missed by all. Terry means everything to our family and we have tried to be there for him and Chris, as I know they have been there for you. In time, your memories of time shared will bring you much comfort. It is hard to believe the pain of loss will lessen, but take comort that Mike is in heaven with his Lord and Saviour.

Brother Mike:
There is no way to say how much we miss you. It seems we think about you all the time, about all the fun we had in the field and on the water.
It will never be the same with you gone, all the fun we had together hunting, fishing, and just partying.
I know we thought we were going to be the old men sitting around the cabin barking out orders to the young guys like Sarge did.
We are really missing you already. Your memory will always be with Mandy (the Bird), Sherry (Bear), and me Brother Chas.
Do not worry about Cindy, Shaina, Cassie or Hayden. We will do whatever we can to keep them safe and happy. We have Justin and Tim to help, and you can't get any better than these guys to help take care of the girls and baby.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.....
Love Ya Brother, catch you and Sarge in the happy hunting grounds on the other side.
You are one of the best brother-in-laws in the world..
P.S. Save me some Deer!
Love You Forever
Brother Chas & Sherry

My thoughts and prayers to the Collins & Rose family. I only wish I would have made it out to the farm with Tim and experienced all the happiness Tim expressed every time he talked about being out there, or getting ready to head out there. I believe Michael was truly blessed to have such a loving family at his side through the hardest times. God bless

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same. We want to thank the Collins family for the times we had with Mike and all of you. And the times to come. In the darkest hour the soul is replenished and given strength to continue and endure.

I met Mike and Cindy thru Phil and both were always really nice to me I always felt at home around them and the family. I know Mike was like another brother to him even though they didnt see each other much in the last few years. Phil would talk about the campin trips to bowl sholes lake and I think they went fishing at truman lake. I know he will miss Mike.

While you may not "know" ME...I do however, know Tim. I have followed him and watched him through this journey. All be it a journey we all pray never to have to take. You are all obviously blessed with wonderful friends and family. I decided to sign this book because SOMETIMES it means a great deal to even know that someone out there that did not even know Mike was still praying for him, you and your family throughout it all. It is the power of multiples that helps us each get through what we have to every day! So know that you and your family are loved and blessed more than you even know. I will continue to pray for the healing of your hearts with such a tragic loss. My heart goes out to your little ones, you and everyone who was touched by Mike. I only hope that each of you feels his presence in everyday life as you continue to move forward cherishing fond memories.
God Bless -

Mike, when you married my sister 30 years ago you made her the happiest woman in the world. Not only did I gain a brother-in-law, but the big brother I never had as well as a 2nd father. You taught me so much, how to work on cars, rehab & build houses, to hunt. Your knowledge when invaluable. I miss you so much already but felt blessed to have spent so much time with you this last year. I know there is no more suffering, cant wait to see you in heaven big brother. Thanks for the bucket ride LOL!
To Cindy and the girls. I know how painful this is for you as I am feeling it too. But lets get strength from our memories with him, You know I will always be here for you, whatever whenever, nothing has changed. With us being such a string family, we can get through anything together.
Love always

Without a doubt Mike was one of the best people I have ever had in my life. Mike was a good brother and brother in law. Terry and I are going to miss him very much!!!! We know how much Mike loved his family and how hard it is going to be for them to put their lives back together but with God's help they can do it!!! Mike was a good son to his mother, a good husband to his wife, and an exceptional father, father in law, and grandfather. Mike has left a huge void in the lives of many but with time somehow you will figure out how to continue on with your lives. Let's just all make it to where we try to be at least half the person that Mike was and the world will be a much better place!!! Now fly with the Angel's Mike and RIP!!! You will be truely missed and loved!!!!
Love
Your brother Terry and sister in law Chris

God seems to always take the best ones first without explanation. Mike was truly the best! I know Mike is up in Heaven now watching closely over all of you. I always looked forward to seeing Mike and Cindy whenever I came home for a visit. Mike was such a character, with a big smile on his face and always joking around. He seemed to lift spirits without even saying a word. It is truly a blessing to have known such a beautiful and strong person.
I love you all and will continue praying for you each and every day. I know it is going to be very hard but God will see you through it all. Have faith and live off all those wonderful memories until you meet again.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Michael, as I am a long distance friend of Tim Rose. However, Tim has spoken of his Michael and his family, that you all sound so special and kind and most of all, giving of your love and time. Knowing Tim just a bit and seeing such a great side of him, I can only imagine that Michael was the same and more. No words can ever ease the pain, however, the bond of such a wonderful, close-knit family as yours can keep Michael's memory alive and keep the strength through the times ahead. I wish you all peace and love and keep Michael and you all in my daily prayers and thoughts, always.
