(Uncle) Ward was a fine Godly man and played a significant role in my childhood. I will always remember him with warmth and as a man who loved me unconditionally. Over the years, we kept in touch with phone calls, a visit in 2004, and I have a few cherished letters from him. He left behind a wonderful legacy of children and grandchildren, and raised them to love the Lord. God bless the family. Stephanie, Bob, and Alyssa Sackett-Converse
