Dear Beverly, Peggy, James and family, I am so sorry to read of the loss of Gene. I didn't know this happened until I read it in the paper. You have my deepest sympathy. I just loved when Gene would pop in to see Uncle Freckles and Aunt Imy. He always came in with a smile and a story. It's probably because of Gene and Uncle Freckles that I love the outdoors and hunting as much as I do today. I can remember wishing they would take me with them. Anyway, just know Gene is a happy memory in my life as a child. He will be missed dearly.
