Obituary of Arthur Wayne Lindberg

Memorial Services for Arthur Wayne Lindberg of Old Monroe, MO will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at New Galilee Christian Church near Troy, MO. Wayne, 79, passed away Friday evening, December 27, 2024 at his home. Born September 26, 1945 in Cape May, NJ, he was the son of John Eric and Georgina Avis Watson Lindberg . Wayne graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelors Degree, and the University of Michigan with a Masters Degree. He was united in marriage on October 1, 1966 in Wildwood, NJ to Bernice Carol Stocker. This union was blessed with two children: Tara and Derek. Wayne worked as an electronic engineer, serving as a government employee in Vietnam. He was employed at AVSCOM, retiring in 2000. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, John and Georgina Lindberg, and his beloved wife of nearly 51 years, Bernice Lindberg, who died on August 30, 2017. Survivors include his children: Tara Lindberg and Derek Lindberg and his wife, Amy, all of Old Monroe; four grandchildren: Michael and his wife, Alena, Alex and his wife, Brooke, Hannah and William; and three great-grandchildren.
