Norma Jean was a friend since our high school days in the early fifties. She and my wife Nona were close friends since they were four years old. She could be a spitfire and she could be kind and consoling. My strongest memories of Norma were her athletic abilities. She was an outstanding basketball player and softball pitcher in her younger days. She became a consoling friend when Nona passed. She loved to reminisce about our younger days and her family's history. I will miss our long conversations. Rest in peace Norma Jean.
