Every Christmas locked up or not you would call me and tell me about the Christmas carrolers that woke you up singing, and how it made you smile. Or just to ask me how I was or tell me happy birthday and catch up. No matter what our relationship was or how mad we were YOU ALWAYS CALLED. today I didn't get a call and it's hard to be happy watching kids opening presents with tears in your eyes.
