I am The youngest daughter of Lesley and John Glide from the UK. I have the most fondest memories of both Sue and Jim and of course Shannon ,Cindy and Jimmy , the whole family was such an important part of my childhood. From my first time in the USA when I was 13 years old , and Sleeping in a water bed ( we don't have them in the uk) I felt like a Princess, also experiencing so many adventures to many to count. also memories of the holidays in the UK too.. sending my love to Auntie Sue and family .Love always Lisa and my girls xxxx

Awwwe wonderful pic of Uncle Jim and beautiful obit. So touched to see my mother’s name and all the family thats preceded him. I know it was an amazing reunion in Heaven when he arrived! I’m so sorry that I can’t be there for the funeral…My love and prayers for you, your mom and all your family.

Sending lots of love to Aunty Sue and Family at the great loss of Uncle Jim.What can I say but he was a larger than life character. From his beaming smile to his fabulous dress sense.I loved the fact he attended my top hat and tail wedding over 32 years ago.He looked mighty fine and I loved being part of my special day.I still have the much used wedding presents. We will be thinking of you all on Friday. We send all our love Emma ,David and Benji xxx (Lesley 's eldest daughter )

We have special memories of our vacations with Sue and Jim with our families both in the US and the UK Jim and John used to see how high they could stack their empty beer cans!!! It was lovely having them visit for two family weddings. Jim never got over how narrow British roads are mostly two lanes and how small pizzas were!!! Sue and I have been penfriends for over 60 years and we have known Jim for 54 years. John tried to teach Jim how to play cricket but he wanted to play it like baseball!!! Happy memories from your friends/family in the UK - our thoughts are with you all xx
