My sympathy to Wayne's family. We were neighbors on 2nd Street, and went to High School together. Someone mentioned him being a "gentle giant." That brings back memories, as he was always so kind. His mom and dad were kind hearted as well. Rest in peace Wayne...

I remember Wayne with a fond heart. I have known him all my life. Mom was the first one to give him a bath since Hazel was sick. In 7th grade we took a train trip to Chicago. There were quite a few in our class that went. That train stopped at every little town to pick up kids. Wayne kept our group in stitches the whole trip. Will miss your laugh Wayne.

I remember Wayne from the 70's when they had the little diner in Elsberry. He was a good man always friendly and smiling. He will not be forgotten.
