One of my memories of Eldie who was a class member in Elsberry, Mo was while we were in band class, Mr. Harris asked us what instrument we wanted to play. I wanted to be a sax player, Eldie wanted to play the guitar. The room bursted out laughing, no one ever heard of guitar in band. Well, I was one to laugh, and I regret that to this day. I hope he had a good life, from the looks of his family he did. God Bless!
