Obituary of Robert Jackson Cannon, Jr.

Funeral Services for Robert Jackson “Boog” Cannon, Jr. of Warrenton, MO will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO.  Mark Payne, pastor of Calvary Chapel-Winfield, will officiate.

           
Mr. Cannon, 60, passed away Monday morning, March 11, 2019 at his home near Warrenton.  Born October 8, 1958 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Robert Jackson “Jack” and Clara Louedith “Lou” Cannon.  Boog was a 1977 graduate of Winfield High School.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Purler, Cannon and Schulte Contractors for 40 years.  He was a member of St. Louis Operators Union Local #513.

           
He was preceded in death by his mother Lou Cannon.

           
Survivors include his children: Robert Jackson Cannon III and Alexandra Lee Cannon, both of Winfield; and one grandson, Barrett Hampton.  Boog also leaves his father, Jack Cannon, of Troy, MO; two sisters: Carmen “Candi” Davis of St. Louis, MO and Kelly Fulkenberry of Warrenton, MO; one brother, Gary Cannon and his wife, Michelle, of Moscow Mills, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

           
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.  Memorials may be made to the Old Monroe Community Ballpark in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
