So sorry for your loss. Forrest was my moms (Margaret Courtney(Curtis) uncle). Karen, Danny and Jerry were her cousins. She talks about Rosie, Forrest and the kids often. Mom said she was very sad when they moved out of Iowa.

I just found out about Mike's passing on Friday, Dec. 21. I was doing some genealogy research on Find A Grave and saw him posted on there, I was sorry to read the news. Mike is my cousin on my father's side. I send my love to all of his family. Take solace in the memories that you share of him.

Chris, I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you. I know from experience that hearing that "he's better now" or other words of sympathy doesn't ease the pain of your loss. I am praying for God to be with you and your family and his brothers and sister... and Michelle too. She never really got to know "Mike" and that's a shame but to no fault of ours. Take care.
