Dear Kris and Family, How sorry we are to hear of Don's passing. What a gentle giant he was. I have many dear memories of Don as both a close friend and co-worker (at McDonnell Douglas). We were fortunate to continue our friendship as K&H Machine Shop took off and you and he served Westar so well for so many years. I am so grateful we all got to spend some time together recently at the shop and have lunch together. Kris, please reach out if you need anything - Don had so many good friends and we are here for you. We all know Don's at home now with our Lord and Savior - his faith was evident and his loving kindness was a testament to his transformed heart and clear trust in God. May he enjoy his eternal inheritance and joy everlasting. Don went out with his working boots on and we will see him again! Peace to you dear friends, Phil and Cathy Downen
