I am so very sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. Even though I never had her as my elementary teacher, I know several people that did and they said she was a great teacher. She was strong and caring.
She may have left this Earth as we know it, but her treasures are awaiting her in Heaven. How glorious it was for her when she saw Jesus!!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Carolyn's passing. Carolyn was very visible with the Lincoln County Retired Teachers Association as she helped in fund raising for the grants we give to area teachers in each school district. She helped teach different crafts to others to sell for the grants. She loved to bring her blackberry cobbler for any of our dinners. I will miss Carolyn and her sweet smile. May I send my deepest condolences to all of the family. May God Be with you today, tomorrow and always.

I offer my sincerest condolences to Carolyn's family and friends. She was so active and vibrant and her passing took me by surprise. I loved hearing about her travel and scuba adventures and loved all the time she took with Tessa teaching her cake decorating and photography with 4-H. Carolyn is an inspiration if how to make the most of life, right up to the last minute. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know her.
Sincerely,
Dori (Mom of a 4H member)

Sending many prayers to Carolyn's family. She had a great love for teaching kids! I traveled with her to Ohio on a 4h trip and she went on and on about her love of teaching kids, we all know Carolyn could talk. She was a great listener and showed her passion for life through many things especially 4h! We all knew if Carolyn was there she was going to judge cake decorating and do it lots of love and enjoyment. I am sure she will be teaching everyone up in Heaven with the great passion she had here on earth! She will be greatly missed!

I thought the world of you. Third grade was a wonderful experience because of you. Bravely I asked that you become our Girl Scout leader and you gladly said yes. That too was an enlightening time in my life. You dedicated 30 years of your life to the Winfield Elementary school system and for that hundreds of students are all the wiser.
Rest in Peace: Miss Green (Mrs. Cannon).
Love and Heartfelt Sympathy to your circle of friends and enormous family!
