Dan when I asked for Dana's hand in marriage you only had one question for me and that was how long did I plan to stay. And I replied (till Dana kills me)!!! who knew you had to plan that sort of thing? lol !! then with the upmost truth and respect I told you I will only say "I do" once in my life and that I would do anything I had to keep our family together till death. And to be honest Dan at times its been hard and the promise I made before god and you I have had to remind myself of a few times. So today Dan I wanted to renew that promise to you. Dan if given the opportunity to have your daughter as my wife I will do what ever I have to and as I told her as I told you then that when we say "I do" that the word divorce is forever stricken from our lives. I never asked much yet I ask one final thing as you look over us from the heavens and that is to give Dana and I guidance when we falter and to guide me be the man and father I need to be for my family. Dan you and Kathy have done so much for my family that I don't know if I will ever be able to repay it. I will do my best to earn what you and Kathy have given us. I will miss you dad! And I will see you again someday. Till then I am glad in knowing your pains and worries are gone and that you finally know pure joy in the arms of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. You lucky bastard!!!

Dear Kathy and family, I’m so sorry to here that Dan had passed. Even more upsetting is that I won’t be able to be there. Ron will be.. I just want to give you a hug. My memories of the both of you visiting us in California was a very special thing for me.. God bless and I hope to see you soon

Dear Kathy, our thoughts and Prayer wit you and your family. I loved my cusion all my life. He touched my heart years ago. You me and him were fishing and my reel wouldn't work. Bub told me if I could learn to cast his I could have it. Then years ago my wife and I showed up at your home. Bub and I were out in the garage and you were trying to figure out who was in your house. My wife finally said we were related to Gama Bradfield. We stayed there for a few days and we saw the Bodygaurd together. My wife and I have never forgotten how nice you both have always been. I remember you before you 2 ever married. I'm sorry to hear he is gone. I'm disabled now but going to try to come if I can figure out how. Love you all. Bill @ Joanna
