Ed was a very fine man and I consider myself better for having known him. His intelligence and attention to detail were second to none and I must say that 90 years were not enough. May God bless all of those he left behind.

My thoughts go out to all of your family. Edward loved to tell everyone about his car at Cadillac Bills during car shows. All loved to hear his knowledge. Although his body may have aged his spirit never did. He will be greatly missed. Again I am very sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers.

I want to give my sincere condolence to the family and friends of Edward Hausgen. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Hausgen. He was a hero back in the days when the TV went on the blink and he arrived to fix it and return the house hold to normal. It is always sad to see people who I grew up with leave us.

Ida & Edward were my adopted parents. They worried about the fact that I lived so far away from my family so they looked out for me. I would take them to doctor appointments and they always took me to Golden Corral. I was surprised by the amount of food Edward could put away! We laughed & teased each other all the time and Ida would laugh at the two of us. I will miss Edward and dear Ida. They are together now, in heaven, in the arms of God and each other. They can finally rest in peace. I am sorry for your loss, Irene, David, and Gerry. The Hausgen family has lost their anchor. Now it is up to them to steer the ship.

So sorry for your loss he was such a kind man I knew him for years and had the pleasure of caring for him in the ER several times, with your beloved mother always by his side, God rest his soul they are reunited once again in the loving arms of our savior.

I know Edward will be missed by all. I have know him ever since I was a little girl. My brother and I used to stay with Uncle Edward and Aunt Ida when our parents were at the hospital with our little brother. My family loved him and we will miss him. Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the family. RIP Edward, until we meet again. Love Carol
