Dear Sharon and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember all the memories and laughter you would share with us at the Bank. I know you all share a special bond ...hold on to those loving memories. I am sorry that I am so far away, but I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. There are no words that one can express this time....take care. My first memory of Dorothy was when her and her good friend Gloria G. were doing a school play. Dorothy was Phyliss Diller and Gloria was Carol Burnett.
But the best time was when she invited me and Nancy to go mushroom hunting. Knowing how fun loving she always was I decided to adlib. Nancy and I went all out. We painted our face in camouflage and we had a minnow net in hand, rope, mouse trap and since Dorothy lived on the river we even brought a little gig to poke the mushrooms. Dorothy got in on the action and found us a hatchet in case we found a tall mushroom. She painted her face too. She insisted on a special spot that we had to use a jon boat to get to it. Nancy was petrified of boats and water, being a good sport she got in the boat putting all her trust in Julie and Dortohy. After all this we did manage to get a good crop of mushrooms. The three of us laughed all day.
She will truly be missed.

Aunt Dot with an aviators cap on "Let's go kids" she yelled. Piling into her black VW like clowns in a circus, she piloted us through the woods dodging [not] the trees, cackling the whole time. Small in stature- large in character, she was multi-talented with a hint of Peter Pan. She was a pip, she was always an experience. She will be missed.8
