I want to extend my sincere condolence on the loss of Doris to all family and friends. She was a very nice person as well as her late husband, Al. I have so many fond memories of both of them.

I have known Doris Ann all my life, having grown up attending Star Hope Baptist Church. She always had a smile. She and my Mom were friends both within the church and the commumity. They left this earthly world and entered Heaven the same morning. What a fellowship that must have been! Carey, we lived just down the road from Hadley Meyer. I remember you visiting and attending church with Doris Ann many times. My prayers are with you and your family.

Doris Ann was like my second mother. She called me her daughter. Jim and I are really missing her. She was a dear friend and neighbor. We watched out for her every day. It won't be the same in the neighborhood without her. We know she is in heaven now with our heavenly father and all her loved ones who have gone before her. Mr. Pibbs was her constant companion. I know he is missing her too.

One of the greatest women in the world. I worked with Doris for many years. Always cheerful and full of spunk, great cook, kind hearted and for sure loved her pets. Many, Many memories go through my mind when I think of her. We certainly had our share of great times, laughing, joking and just plain talk about life. Will miss her deeply and regretting that I had not spent time with her recently. May she rejoice in Heaven.... always an Angel in my eyes...

Doris will be missed by many people. She was a wonderful person and a great neighbor. We will miss her walking her dog Mr. Pibb's through the yard every afternoon. It will be strange for a long time not having her next door and see here working on her flower garden or out in the yard. Doris may you Rest in Peace and Rejoice in Heaven.
