"The song is ended, but the melody lingers on..." Why does it take a minute to say hello and a lifetime to say goodbye? This is not the time for us to grieve Gary’s death, but it’s our time to celebrate his life; to look back on all of the things that have made this sweet man so unforgettable. He was a good person and we are blessed to have been able to have him in our lives, even if for such a short time. Now is the time to look back on all of our memories with him and cherish them. Gary will forever be missed but I know, in the right time, we will meet him again (and he will probably still out-fish us and win all of our spare change playing poker). We are truly lucky to have known a man who makes saying goodbye so hard.
We will miss you, Gary!
