Sweet sweet Robert,
I just can not believe this is real. So much left unsaid. So much time has passed. You were a bright light of joy and hope. So kind and caring, and always had time to listen, or make me smile. Your Art will be cherished, as you have given those close to you, a piece of you to hold on to. I watched you as you traveled some tough roads, yet kept a smile and kept pushing forward, not giving up, and never giving in. Your strong willed spirit carried you, and has been shared, to carry others in your life. I wish I would have saved each text message, I wish I had just one of the tons of hour long phone calls we used to have. I do have to smile though, thinking that now, the secret of how we met, will be held on the other side. When we meet again we will both have a good laugh. I am so sorry things ended this way for you, its just not right. You will be missed greatly, and I hope your still listening, because I will still talk to you about life, and living life on life's terms. This is not goodbye my friend, its just until we meet again.
