Obituary of Mike Duane Corter

Mike Duane Corter Funeral Services for Mike Duane Corter of Troy, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. David Lloyd, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God Church. Mr. Corter, 44, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at his home in Troy. Born December 20, 1967 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Richard Glen and Darlene Kay Sohn Corter. He worked as an asphalt contractor and truck driver for Corter Asphalt. He also owned the bar, "The Office" located in Winfield. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Corter who died on August 3, 2012. Survivors include his father, Richard Corter of Winfield; one brother, Glen Corter of St. Charles; and one sister, Angela Rogalski of Winfield. He also leaves his dear dog, Cheyenne, who he loved as his child; several other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
