Obituary of Helen Coleen Hotchkiss

Helen C. Hotchkiss Funeral Services for Helen Coleen Hotchkiss of Troy, MO, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be: Bobby Joe Williams, Richard Williams, Denis Callahan, Andrew Hotchkiss, Timothy Rainwater and Charlie Rainwater. Mrs. Hotchkiss, 54, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 4, 2012 at her home in Troy. Born September 23, 1957 Walnut Ridge, AR, she was the daughter of Charlie and Helen J. Newman Rainwater. She was a 1975 graduate of Winfield High School. She was united in marriage on September 22, 2001 in St. Charles, MO to Thomas John Hotchkiss. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Rainwater. Survivors include her beloved husband of nearly 12 years, Thomas Hotchkiss of Troy; one daughter, Catherine Coleen Williams of Winfield; two sons: Richard Earl Williams of Old Monroe, MO and Bobby Joe Williams and his wife, Jennifer, of Foley, MO; two stepdaughters: Rachael Nicole Callahan and her husband, Denis, of Potosi, MO and Amanda Sue Hotchkiss of IA; one stepson, Andrew Raymond Hotchkiss and his wife, Krystal, of Leadwood, MO; and twenty grandchildren. She also leaves her mother, Helen Surls and her husband, Clarence, of Moscow Mills, MO; two brothers: Charles Glen Rainwater of Pocahontas, AR and Timothy Earl Rainwater of Bowling Green, MO; two half-brothers: Terry Rainwater and his wife, Joannie, of Success, MO and Charlie Rainwater and his wife, Leah, of O'Fallon, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
