Obituary of James Wahlman Kendall

James Wahlman Kendall A Mass of Christian Burial for James Wahlman Kendall of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO. Father Phil Krahman, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe. Mr. Kendall, 68, passed away Monday evening, July 9, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Born February 23, 1944 in St. Louis, he was the son of Harold Frank and Mary A. Kloda Kendall. He served his country in the United States Army from June 28, 1962 until being honorably discharged on September 10, 1964 as a Private E2. He was united in marriage on November 11, 1967 in Old Monroe, MO to Mary L. Parr. This union was blessed with three children: Keith, Tanya and Tricia Lynn. He worked for many years as a forklift operator for Mueller Brothers in Old Monroe. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Kendall; one brother, Robert Kendall in 1994; and one daughter, Tricia Lynn Kendall in infancy. Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Mary Kendall of Old Monroe; one son, Keith J. Kendall and his wife, Melissa of Wright City, MO; and one daughter, Tanya M. Mathis and her husband, Robby, of Winfield, MO. He also leaves three grandchildren: Tricia L. Mathis of Winfield and Hannah G. and Hayden T. Kendall of Wright City; several other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home. Visitation will also be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
