Obituary of George Henry Schnettgoecke
George Henry Schnettgoecke, Jr.
George Henry Schnettgoecke, 60, passed away Saturday evening, April 16, 2011 at his home in Moscow Mills, MO. Born March 12, 1951 in St. Louis, MO he was the son of George Henry, Sr. and Ena Marie Eckelkamp Schnettgoecke. He served his country in the United States Army from April 28, 1971 until being honorably discharged on April 23, 1974. He worked for many years as a welder for Emerson Electric. He served as a volunteer fireman for the O'Fallon Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Henry, Sr. and Ena Schnettgoecke and his nephew, Dustin Schnettgoecke.
Survivors include one son, Michael Schnettgoecke and his wife, Katie, of Moscow Mills, MO; a daughter, Leticia, of Moscow Mills; one step-son, Brian Trail and his wife, Janet, of Wentzville, MO; and five grandchildren: Ronald, Cierra and Destiny Schnettgoecke and Corey and Tyler Bauman. He also leaves two brothers: James M. Schnettgoecke of Foley, MO and Tom J. Schnettgoecke and his wife, Karen, of O'Fallon, MO; two sisters: Nancy Blanchard and her husband, George, of California and Mary Nieman and her husband, Thomas of Arizona; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
