Obituary of Dennis James Schulte

Dennis James Schulte Funeral services for Dennis James Schulte of Troy, MO, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Msgr. Gregory Schmidt, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Todd Schulte, Tom, Jeff, Kenny, Danny and Kevin Schulte. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Schulte, Bart Schulte, Mike Gilbert and Gary Gilbert. Mr. Schulte, 48, died late Friday evening, March 4, 2011 on Highway OO near Old Monroe. Born April 4, 1962 in Ludwigshafen-on-the-Rhine, Germany, he was the son of James Leo and Elfriede Unrath Schulte. He was a 1980 graduate of Winfield High School. He was employed at Concrete Strategies in St. Louis, MO, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #513 in St. Louis. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Schulte of Mankato, KS; one daughter, Ashley Schulte of Old Monroe; his father, Jim Schulte and his wife, Carole, of Winfield; his mother, Elfriede Lugar of Troy; two sisters: Donna Wieman and her husband, Edward, of Troy, and Angela LaRue and her husband, Wayne, of Troy; and one step-sister, Shannon Beasley and her husband, Stanley, of O'Fallon, MO. He also leaves also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
