Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Georgine May Giardina Memorial Services for Georgine May Giardina, of Paynesville, MO were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Officiating the service was Rev. Conrad Cheatham, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Elsberry, MO. Mrs. Giardina, 71, died early Monday morning, September 5, 2005 at Pike County Hospital in Louisiana, MO. Born June 11, 1934 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late George and Bernice Seigler. She was united in marriage on January 5, 1952 to Peter Joseph Giardina. Mrs. Giardina was a homemaker. She attended Smith Chapel Methodist Church. Besides her parents, George and Bernice Seigler, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pete Giardina, who passed away on July 15, 1994; one son, Michael Angelo Giardina; one great-grandson, Mitchell Robert Steen; one brother, Robert Siegler; and one sister, Joan Siegler. Survivors include one son: Joseph Michael Giardina and his wife, Annette, of Elsberry, MO; two daughters: Marie Antionette Skirvin and her husband, Rick, of Eolia, MO and Patricia Ann Baker of Troy, MO. She also leaves five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
