Obituary of Kenneth Ray Brawley

Kenneth Ray Brawley Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Brawley of Winfield, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Paul Hunt of Troy, MO, will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Kelly, Ty Callaway, Kenneth Weber, Jerry Bartley, Jr., Paul Bishop, Jr., and Jesse "Fuzz" Lynch. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Howard, Keith Callaway, David Preston, Andy Coates, Jodie Brawley, and David Callaway. Mr. Brawley, 24, died early Friday morning, January 15, 2010 as a result of an auto accident on Highway 47 near Troy, MO. Born August 22, 1985 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Lonnie Jr. and Lois Marie Callaway Brawley. He worked as a laborer for Southern Ditching and Excavating in St. Peters, MO. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Labor's Union, Local #660 in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Callaway; his paternal grandfather, Lonnie Brawley, Sr.; and his niece, Kaileigh Sutherland. Survivors include his companion, Natalie Preston of Winfield; one son, Jordan Brawley; and one daughter, Mackenzie Brawley, both of Winfield. He also leaves his mother, Lois Brawley of Winfield; his father, Lonnie Brawley, Jr. of Troy; one sister, Kristi Sutherland of Winfield; his paternal grandmother, Joyce Brawley of Hawk Point, MO; his maternal grandfather, Ray Callaway of Winfield; his great-grandfather, Kenneth Hannar of O'Fallon, MO; one nephew Bryant Preston; two nieces: Wendi and Hope Sutherland; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
