Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Thelma Fay Freeman Funeral services for Thelma Fay Freeman of Elsberry, MO will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Palmer Funeral Home in Cushing, Oklahoma. Rev. Louis Leeman will officiate. Members of Mrs. Freeman's family will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are being handled through Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Mrs. Freeman, 80, died Saturday morning, October 1, 2005, at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry. Born April 5, 1925 in Pritchett, CO, she was the daughter of Arnold and Mae Moore Rupert. She was united in marriage on January 9, 1947 in California to Bill A. Freeman, Sr. She attended high school in Ludbock, TX. Besides her parents, Arnold and Mae Rupert, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth Rupert, Wayne Rupert and Everett Rupert; and her beloved husband of 46 years, Bill Freeman, Sr., who died in 1993. Survivors include three sons: Sherman Freeman and his wife, Jerry, of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronald Freeman and his wife, Ginny, of Norman, OK, and Bill Freeman, Jr. and his wife, Mana, of Amarillo, TX; three daughters: Sharon Covington and her husband, LeRoy of Rio Deso, NM, Gaylene Lockhart and her husband, Charles, of Globe, AZ, and Gwendolen Helton and her husband, Steve, of Silex, MO; one brother, Kenneth Rupert of Stillwater, OK; one twin sister, Wilma Howell and her husband, J.D., of Clearmore, OK; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, several other relatives and friends. Memorials can be given to the charity of donor's choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.
