Obituary of Jody Ryan

Jody Marie (nee Boehm) Ryan, 38, of Elsberry, MO, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 on a houseboat on the Mississippi River near Mozier, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Elsberry Assembly of God Church under the direction of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Elsberry Assembly of God Church with Rev. Richard Pillars officiating. A second visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Baue Funeral Home with burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, MO. Mrs. Ryan, born October 7, 1969 in Garden City, MI, was the daughter of Bill and Jackie Frances Plummer Boehm. She was united in marriage on August 2, 2008 in Elsberry to Dale Patrick Ryan, Sr. She worked for several years as a painter and later as a maintenance worker at Franciscan Sisters of Mary in Richmond Heights, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Boehm; two brothers: Frank McGrath and Bob Boehm; and two sisters: Pam Loftus and Linda Cubbage. Her husband, Dale Ryan, Sr.; her brother, Billy Boehm; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Boehm, all died in the same accident on October 5, 2008. Survivors include her mother, Jackie Boehm of Elsberry; two sisters: Jane Evosevich and her husband, Del, of Richland, WA, and Janet Mitchell and her husband, Ricky, of Elsberry; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves one stepson, Dale "Patrick" Ryan, Jr. of Elsberry; one stepdaughter, Andrea Ryan of Elsberry; one step granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
