Obituary of Anna McKeever
Anna McKeever
A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna McKeever of Elsberry, MO, was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Fr. Raymond Hager of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, officiated with a burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Hagemeier, George Kuhn, John Roche, John Roche, Jr., Tony Martin and Howard Goetsch. Honorary pallbearers were James McKeever, Stanley "Buddy" Maslowski and Matt Kinsler.
Mrs. McKeever, 85, died Tuesday morning, June 5, 2007 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, MO. Born July 10, 1921 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Foczycka Maslowski. She was united in marriage on May 21, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Alfred Joseph McKeever. This union was blessed with four daughters: Ann, Patricia, Marlene and Maureen. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed working in her garden and making flower arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents: �����Joseph and Josephine Maslowski; five sisters: Mary Dyreks, Agnes Bukowski, Josephine Rachupka, and adolescent sisters, Sophie and Genevieve Maslowski; and her beloved husband of 41 years, Alfred McKeever, who passed away August 23, 1983.
Survivors include her four daughters: Ann Kuhn and her husband, George, of St. Louis, MO, Patricia "Patty" Roche and her husband, John, of New Melle, MO, Marlene "Sam" Hagemeier and her husband, Gary, of Elsberry, MO, and Maureen McKeever, also of Elsberry; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley "Buddy" Maslowski and his wife, Peggy, of St. Louis, MO; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June7, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday, June 8, 20076 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Memorials to St. Stanislaus Restoration or Charity of Donor's Choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.
