Obituary of Raymond B. Clark Ray

Raymond Burrell Clark Funeral services for Raymond Burrell Clark of Elsberry, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Doug McGlaughlin of Troy, MO, officiated with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry, MO. Pallbearers were Charles Clark, Allen "Shorty" Siders, Sr., Robert Wallace, Donnie Moore, Donnie Kinsler and Dan Burrow. Mr. Clark, 74, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at his home in Elsberry, MO. Born September 24, 1932 in Concordia, KS, he was the son of Roland Charles and Marion Marie Thomas Clark. He was a graduate of Maplewood High School in St. Louis, MO. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict from August 25, 1952 until being honorably discharged August 24, 1956. He was united in marriage on August 25, 1956 to Rebecca Partida. This union was blessed with four children: Debra, Charles, Donna and Diane. He was later united in marriage on September 19, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV to Linda Fay Siders. He was employed for several years as an electrician at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, MO, retiring March 30, 1991. He was a member of the Elsberry First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and searching for mushrooms. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Marion Clark; one brother, Richard Clark; one step-daughter, Rhonda Clark; and one great-grandchild, Colton Crosson. Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 27 years, Linda Clark of Elsberry; his mother-in-law, Mildred Witt of Stockton, MO; one son, Charles Clark of Elsberry; three daughters: Debra Smith of Clarksville, MO, Donna Russell and her husband, Michael, also of Clarksville, and Diane Tiemann and her husband, Bob, of O'Fallon, MO; one step-son, Gene Trower of Elsberry; and two step-daughters: Karen Waggoner and her husband, Jeff, of Elsberry; and Lisa Grant of Troy, MO. He also leaves one aunt, Margaret Luecke of St. Louis, MO; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one niece, several cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
