Obituary of Roberta Carmi

Roberta E. Carmi Memorial services for Roberta E. Carmi, of Troy, MO were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Elsberry First Christian Church in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Connie Atchley, church pastor, officiated the service. Mrs. Carmi, 87, died early Saturday morning, April 14, 2007 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born August 11, 1919 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Frank and Leah Daniels Peiper. She was a graduate of Alton High School in Alton, IL. She was married to Joseph Michael Carmi in October 1951. This union was blessed with two sons: Michael and Mark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Leah Peiper; and her beloved husband of 34 years, Joseph Michael Carmi. Survivors include her sons: Michael Carmi and his wife, Evelyn, of Clarksville, MO; Mark Carmi of Lake St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
