Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Terry Lee Missey Funeral services for Terry Lee Missey of Foley, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Jim Eddleman, pastor of the New Salem Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Theodore "Ted" J. Missey, Jr., Charles Joseph Edgar, Randy Dean Morris, Charles W. Hobby, Roger Mathis and Casey Michael Gillette. Mr. Missey, 53, died Saturday afternoon, February 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born March 24, 1953 in St. Charles, he was the son of Theodore Joseph "Buck" and Rhoda Beatrice "Bea" Berry Missey, Sr. He was united in marriage on April 25, 1981 in St. Louis, MO to Susan Marie Edgar. He was employed for 30 years as a truck driver for Fred Weber Northstone Quarry at Earth City, MO. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #682 in St. Louis. He sang country music in many local clubs, and was a member of the Gateway Country Music Association. Mr. Missey was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church near Winfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Bea Missey. Survivors include his beloved wife of 25 years, Susan "Susie" Missey of Foley; two sons: Charles Joseph Edgar and his wife, Jamie, of Winfield, and David Michael Missey of Foley; two daughters: Kristy Dougherty and her husband, Christopher Lawrence of O'Fallon, MO, and Susanne Marie Kinder of Winfield; and six grandchildren: Skyla Cheree English, Charles Joseph Edgar, Jr., Sierra McKenzie Edgar, Edgar Paul Kinder, Thomas Anthony Kinder and Orianna McKenzie Lee. He also leaves one brother, Theodore "Ted" J. Missey, Jr. and his wife, Evelyn Green, of Moscow Mills, MO; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
