Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Patricia Cannon Cole Funeral services for Patricia Cannon Cole of Dallas, TX, were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. J. Larry Carter, of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home officiated the service with burial at Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry, MO. Mrs. Cole, 76, died late Sunday evening, February 11, 2007 at Veranda Nursing Home in Dallas, TX. Born May 26, 1930 in Pana, IL, she was the daughter of Jennings Bryan and Ida Pauline Phillips Cannon. She was a graduate of Elsberry High School in Elsberry, MO. She also attended Hannibal LaGrange College. She was united in marriage on April 16, 1955 in Elsberry, MO to John F. Cole. She was a member of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and PEO Chapter BM in Dallas, TX. She was a member of the Highlands Christian Church in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Pauline Cannon; and one brother, Dr. Lester Cannon. Survivors include her husband of almost 52 years, John F. Cole of Dallas, TX; one son, R. Bruce Cole and his wife, Evelyn, of Madison, WI; one daughter, Kerry L. Cole of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
