Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Tammy Yvonne Boedeker Funeral services for Tammy Yvonne Boedeker of Foley, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home officiated with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers were Chris DeGeare, Darren Preston, Dwayne Preston, David Preston, Rusty Simpson and Tim Golden. Ms. Boedeker, 44, died Monday evening, September 18, 2006 in a motorcycle accident near Old Monroe, MO. Born December 22, 1961 in Troy, MO, she was the daughter of Bob Harold and Mae Ellen Shafer DeGeare. She was a 1980 graduate of Elsberry High School in Elsberry, MO. Ms. Boedeker was employed for several years as a factory worker at True Manufacturing in O'Fallon, MO. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball and throwing washers. She was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Ellen DeGeare, who died August 1, 1976. Survivors include one son, Michael Boedeker of Elsberry, MO; her father, Bob DeGeare of Elsberry; one brother, Bobby DeGeare and his wife, Diane, of Elsberry; one sister, Kim Price and her husband, Ricky, of Old Monroe, MO; her special friend, Vicky Eisenbath of Wentzville, MO; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO.
