Noble I. "Bud" Presley, Jr. Funeral services for Noble I. "Bud" Presley, Jr. of Foley, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Richard Turnbull officiated with burial in Star Hope Cemetery near Elsberry, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Morris, Clint Presley, Don Dueing, Bill Rockwell, Tom Presley, Allen Akers, Tanya Morris, Brian Bange and Cindy Brill. Mr. Presley, 73, died early Sunday morning, August 7, 2005 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO, after a lengthy illness. Born January 4, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Noble Sitton and Laura Mae Glore Presley, Sr. He was united in marriage on November 24, 1951 in Winfield, MO to Lois "Faye" Akers. He owned and operated Lincoln Quarry near Foley, MO with his father and brother for many years, retiring in 1997. Mr. Presley held offices in the National Farmers Organization (NFO), Foley Baptist Church and the Foley Athletic Club. He was a member of the Foley Baptist Church in Foley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noble and Laura Presley; two sisters: Charolette Mae Calvin in 1991, and Janet Fae Creech in 2000; one grandson, Chad Eugene Presley in 1975; two nephews, and two great-nephews. Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 54 years, Faye Presley of Foley; two daughters: Deborah Kay Morris and her husband, Barney, of Elsberry and Colleen Henton and her special friend, Mike Dillin, of Elsberry; two sons: Thomas Eugene Presley and his wife, Ann, of Hawk Point and Noble I. "Buddy" Presley, III, and his wife, Leann, of Moscow Mills; and five grandchildren: Cynthia Renee Brill and her husband, Shannon, of Wisconsin, Thomas Presley Jr. of Illinois, Louis Wayne Morris, and his wife, Marie, of Troy, Tanya Annette Morris and her fianc�, Brian Bange, of Elsberry, and Clinton Neal Presley of Moscow Mills. He also leaves one brother, Mike Presley and his wife, Iris, of Troy; one sister, Anna June Hecker and her husband, Fred, of Winfield; four great-grandchildren: Maddie, Lizzie, and Johnathan Brill of Wisconsin, and Emma Morris of Troy; three sisters-in-law: Mabel Ross of Hazelwood, MO, Mary Akers of Louisiana, MO, and Dorothy Ussery and her husband, Hoyt, of St. Charles, MO; one brother-in-law, Robert Watts, of Elsberry, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
