Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Ella Eileen Terrell Funeral services for Ella Eileen Terrell of Troy, MO were held at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Rev. David Stewart, pastor of St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy, officiated with burial in the Troy City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Richard Green, Gary Cox, Darrell Painter, Chuck Reed, Kyle Dunn and Adam Dunn. Mrs. Terrell, 84, died Sunday evening, July 3, 2005 at the Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry. Born September 28, 1920 in Davis (near Troy), MO, she was the daughter of the late Ira N. and Ivah Hammett Fielder. She was a 1938 graduate of Troy High School. She was united in marriage on November 11, 1944 in St. Louis, MO to Rodney A. Terrell. She and her husband owned and operated Terrell Automotive in St. Louis, and she served as the bookkeeper for their business. Mrs. Terrell was a member of the Evangeline Club in Troy, and was active at TOCOA Senior Center. She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Troy. Besides her parents, Ira and Ivah Fielder, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Fielder; one sister, Reba Lou O'Donnell; and her beloved husband of 51 years, Rodney Terrell, who died March 2, 1996. Survivors include one son, Mark Terrell and his wife, Darlene of Elsberry, MO; and one grandson, Dylan Terrell. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
