Obituary of Deborah Harding

Deborah Kaye Harding Funeral services for Deborah Kaye Harding of Wright City, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Steve Dillon, pastor of Church of God Holiness in St. Charles, MO, officiated with burial in Mount Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Mitch Harding, Mick Harding, John Brokaw, Greg McGlasson, Roger Lucas, and Justin Lucas. Mrs. Harding, 51, died Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2005 in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 79 near Annada, MO. Born August 30, 1953 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of James Virgil and Pauline T. Dunlap Lucas. She graduated from Mt. Zion Bible School in Ava, MO and continued her education for two years at the Mount Zion Bible College in Ava. She was united in marriage September 27, 1997 in Eolia, MO to Mark Anthony Harding. She was employed as an inspector-packer for MEMC in O'Fallon, MO. She attended Church of God Holiness in St. Charles, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Lucas, who passed away June 9, 2001. Survivors include her beloved husband of 7 years, Mark Anthony Harding of Wright City; two step-daughters: Rebecca Lee Silvy of Moscow Mills, MO, and Melissa Kay McGlasson of Clarksville, MO; and four grandchildren: Mark Silvy, Alexis Silvy, Kasey McGlasson, and Hailey McGlasson. She also leaves her father, Jim V. Lucas of St. Charles; four brothers: Michael Lucas and his wife, Sue, of Macon, MO, Philip Lucas of Lake St. Louis, MO, Samuel Lucas and his wife Robin, of Warrenton, MO, and James Lucas of St. Peters, MO; one sister Karen Lucas of St. Charles, MO; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
