Obituary of Timothy Sliger

Timothy Ray Sliger Funeral services for Timothy Ray Sliger of Foley, MO were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Scott Groshong, pastor of Corinth Christian Church of Foley, MO officiated with burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles. Serving as pallbearers were Gerald Bartley, Jr., Gerald Bartley, Sr., Jeff Cheir, Jason Coke, Robbie Davis, Gary Lagemann and Jonathan Taylor. Mr. Sliger, 26, died Wednesday evening, May 4, 2005 in a two-vehicle accident on Highway W near Troy, MO. Born March 8, 1979 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Steven Ray and Bonnie Jo Ratcliff Sliger. He was employed for several years as a grain miller at Jersey County Grain Company (Winfield Elevator). He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Sliger on May 3, 1980, and his grandfather, Art Ratcliff. Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Jo Sliger of Winfield; and his fianc�e, Brandi Brawley of Foley. He also leaves his brother, Steven "Pete" Sliger of Foley; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Ratcliff of Foley; his paternal grandparents: Loretta Adams and her husband, John, of Foley, and Bill Sliger and his wife, Mona, of Arnold, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
