Mary Catherine Mauch Funeral services for Mary Catherine Mauch of Troy, MO, were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Foley Baptist Church near Foley, MO. Rev. Louis Hunt, pastor of Sulphur Lick Baptist Church officiated with burial in Corinth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Dale Cannon, John Bronwich, John Herring, Larry Briscoe, Darryl Briscoe, and Rick Sparks. Mrs. Mauch, 91, died Wednesday morning, April 13, 2005 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab Center in Troy, MO. Born September 8, 1913 in Lincoln County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Matilda Frances Knollhoff McQueen. She was united in marriage on March 6, 1975 in St. Louis County to Lester Mauch. Mrs. Mauch had worked in a Small Arms Plant during World War II. She was employed for a number of years as a seamstress for Lockwoven in St. Louis, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Star Hope Baptist Church of Elsberry, MO. She was also a member of the Omnibudsman Program. Besides her parents, Clem and Matilda McQueen, and her beloved husband, Lester Mauch, who died October 3, 1975, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl McQueen who died in 1993. Survivors include one sister, Lenora Stull of Silex, Missouri; two nieces: Betty Briscoe and her husband, Larry, of Foley, Ruby Werdehausen and her husband, Casper, of Rolla, MO; several great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service April 16, 2005 at Foley Baptist Church near Foley.
