Obituary of Daniel Perez

Daniel Anthony Perez Funeral services for Daniel Anthony Perez of Elsberry, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Allen Calkins, pastor of the Star Hope Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be James Irving, Jr., Terrell Mathis, Alan Turner, Jr., Michael Riffle, Jessie Hunter, Adam Hunter, Billy Joe Hunter and Jared Medley; and honorary pallbearers will be Archie Addison, Jeremy Oliver, Jerry Campbell and Rick Hunter. Mr. Perez, 20, died Saturday evening, March 12, 2005 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO, following a single car accident on Highway JJ near Elsberry. Born October 2, 1984 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Danita Perez . He was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Perez on September 11, 1999. Survivors include his mother, Danita Acevedo and her fianc�, Kelley Leach, of Salem, MO; his father, John L. Hunter of Elsberry; Daniel's fianc�, Ashley Bruno of Salem; and one daughter, Arianna Perez of Salem. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Velma Wilkerson of Elsberry; his paternal grandmother, Mary Hunter of Elsberry; three brothers: Johnnie Hunter, Jr. of Farmington, MO, Adam Hunter of Elsberry, and Matthew Hunter of Salem; several cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
