Obituary of Dorothy Elledge

Dorothy Mae Elledge Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Elledge of Winfield, MO were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Raymond Doussard, chaplain of AmHeart Hospice, officiated with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Adkins, Jeff Adkins, Sonny Adkins, and Dean Vickers. Mrs. Elledge, 75, died Monday afternoon, January 24, 2005 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO. Born October 13, 1929 in Warren County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Frances Lynch Adkins. She was united in marriage on October 26, 1968 in Winfield to Donald Lee Elledge. She was employed for a number of years as a clerk for Ricks A.G. Grocery in Winfield. Besides her parents, Walter and Frances Adkins, she was preceded in death by two infant children; and her beloved husband, Donald Elledge, who died December 28, 2004. Survivors include one son, Bob Bizelli of Winfield; three step-sons: Rick Elledge of Winfield, Michael Elledge and his wife, Linda, of Mexico, MO, and Russell Elledge of Harvester, MO; and 5 grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Elmer "Sonny" Adkins and his wife, Mynra, of Wright City, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
