Donald Lee Elledge Funeral services for Donald Lee Elledge of Winfield, MO, were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Raymond Doussard, Chaplin for AmHeart Hospice, officiated with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, MO. Mr. Elledge, 70, died Tuesday evening, December 28, 2004 at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, MO. Born October 4, 1934 in Fairbury, IL, he was the son of the late Russell William and Pearl Mitchell Elledge. He was a 1952 graduate of Litchfield High School in Litchfield, IL. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from August 1, 1952 until September 26, 1962. Mr. Elledge was united in marriage on October 26, 1968 in Winfield, MO to Dorothy Mae Adhins. He was employed for a number of years as a clerk at Ricks AG in Winfield. He was a member of the American Legion Post in St. Peters, MO. Mr. Elledge was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Pearl Elledge. Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years, Dorothy Elledge of Winfield; three sons: Richard Elledge of Winfield, Michael Elledge and his wife, Linda, of Mexico, MO, and Russ Elledge of Harvester, MO; one step-son, Bob Bizelli of Winfield; and five grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers: William "Bud" Elledge and his wife, Dee, of Daytona, FL, and Richard "Dick" Elledge and his wife, Marion, of Litchfield, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
