Doris Maurine Aderton Hall Funeral services for Doris Maurine Aderton Hall of Eolia, MO, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Keith Barnhart officiated with burial in Greenwood Cemetery near Clarksville, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Richard A. Occhi, Robert Hall, Jason Hall, Jeff Norton, Ed Martinson, and Tim Lavy. Mrs. Hall, 89, died Tuesday morning, December 21, 2004 at her home near Eolia. Born December 1, 1915 in Vandalia, MO, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Kring and Bertie Ethel McDowell Aderton. She was a 1934 graduate of Paynesville High School. She was united in marriage on March 1, 1936 in Troy, MO to Norvell Sylvester Hall. She was a member of the Clarksville Baptist Church in Clarksville, MO. Besides her parents, Gilbert and Bertie Aderton, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Aderton, who died as a child; and one sister, Wilma Griffith. Survivors include her beloved husband, Norvell Hall of Eolia; two sons: Benny Hall and his wife, Hettie, of Eolia, and Donald Hall and his wife, Judy, of Elsberry; three daughters: Bonnie Occhi and her husband, Richard, of Troy, Sharon Worthington and her husband, Danny, of Bowling Green, MO, and Karen Norton of Clarksville, MO; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
