Mildred "Mickie" R. Dickherber A Mass of Christian burial was held for Mildred "Mickie" Rosaline Dickherber of Old Monroe, MO, at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Msgr. Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, officiated with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe. Mrs. Dickherber, 83, died Monday, November 1, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. Born September 23, 1921 in Old Monroe, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Anna Diekemper Besselman. She was united in marriage on October 9, 1943 in Old Monroe to Alphonse "Scrubby" J. Dickherber. She was a member of OATS and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Besides her parents, Joseph and Anna Besselman, she was preceded in death by three brothers: William Besselman, Edward Besselman, and Ollie Besselman; two sisters: Delphine Dickbernd and Linda "Toots" Farris; and her beloved husband, Alphonse "Scrubby" Dickherber, who died May 6, 1990. Survivors include one son, Gary Dickherber of Old Monroe; two daughters: Karren Ann Stone of St. Charles, MO, and Wanda Lee Prinster and her husband, Charles, of St. Peters, MO; 3 grandchildren: Stephanie Cross and her husband, Bob, of Troy, MO, Stacey Swalla and her husband, Kent, of Columbia, MO, and Courtney Meyer of Moscow Mills, MO; and 2 great-grandchildren: Emiley and Aubrey Cross. She also leaves one brother Urban Besselman of St. Charles; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Visitation was held from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO and from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or St. Luke's Hospital in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
