Virginia Mae Foerster Funeral services for Virginia Mae Foerster of O'Fallon, MO, formerly of Winfield, MO, were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Richard Turnbull, pastor of the Foley Baptist Church, officiated with burial in the Winfield Cemetery. Mrs. Foerster, 76, died Saturday evening, October 2, 2004 at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, MO. Born May 16, 1928 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of the late George Frederick and Orian Mae Cline Berlekamp. She was a 1946 graduate of Winfield High School. She was united in marriage on November 7, 1946 in Winfield, MO to Ralph Frederick Foerster. Besides her parents, George and Orian Berlekamp, she was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Lou Berlekamp; one son, Michael Alan Foerster in 1962; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Foerster in 1996 and her beloved husband of almost 44 years, Ralph Foerster who died in 1990. Survivors include two sons: Terry Foerster and his wife, Sue, of St. Paul, MO, and Clay Foerster of Winfield; three daughters: Joann Whitaker and her husband, Phil, of Atlanta, GA, Cathy Sack and her husband, Fred, of O'Fallon, and Lori Foerster, also of O'Fallon; and six grandchildren. She also leaves several in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2004 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
