Obituary of Lisa McCoy

Lisa Marie McCoy Lisa Marie Hannar McCoy was born October 14, 1951 in St. Charles, Missouri, the daughter of Kenneth F. and Lois Marie Gravens Hannar. She passed away Friday evening, September 3, 2004 at her home near O'Fallon, Missouri. She had reached the age of 52 years, 10 months, and 20 days. Lisa was a 1970 graduate of Fort Zumwalt High School. She was united in marriage on September 30, 1978 in St. Paul, Missouri to Charles "Chuck" Michael McCoy. She was employed as a produce specialist at Dee Produce in Wentzville, Missouri. She was a member of the Chapel of the Lake in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Lisa was also involved in Camp Kavod at Chapel of the Lake. She was active in the Girls Scouts, and the McCoy family served as a Host Family for Foreign Exchange Students. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Marie Hannar, and one sister, Wanda Callaway. She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 26 years, Charles "Chuck" McCoy of O'Fallon; two sons: Matt Vaughn of O'Fallon, and Dana Vaughn of St. Charles; two daughters: Amanda McCoy and Rachel McCoy, both of O'Fallon; and five grandchildren. She also leaves her father, Kenneth F. Hannar of O'Fallon; one sister, Sherril Kersting and her husband, Donald, of O'Fallon; two brothers: Kenneth W. Hannar and his wife, Lynn, of O'Fallon, and Jess JT Hannar and his companion, Chris Webster, also of O'Fallon; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lisa will be greatly missed by her family and a host of friends.
