Obituary of Lillian Sears

Lillian Edith Sears Lillian Edith Sears, 81, of Elsberry, MO, passed peacefully Tuesday morning, July 27, 2004 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Wyatt, near Elsberry. Born December 28, 1922 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Arthur A. and Edith Foege Lawrence. She was united in marriage on January 19, 1952 in Wellston, MO to Ernest Franklin Sears. She retired from Wagner Electric after over three decades of service in 1983. Besides her parents, Arthur and Edith Lawrence, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, one daughter, Donna Lowe, and three brothers. Survivors include two daughters: Deborah F. Wyatt and her husband, Jerry, of Elsberry, and Jane L. Holhut and her husband, William, of Reno, NV; nine grandchildren: John Holhut and Bradley Holhut, both of Reno, Brandy LaBanca and her husband, Jeremy, of Elsberry; Jennipher Stark and her husband, Jason, of O'Fallon, MO, Jerry Wyatt III and his wife, Crystal, of Troy, MO, Maria Wyatt of Ferguson, MO, Roger Povich of Elsberry, Eric Lowe and his wife, Amy, Elsberry, and Kimberly Ragle of Florissant, MO. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren: Harley and Christian LaBanca, Tanner and Braden Stark, and Brooke Miller Wyatt. She also leaves one brother, George Meyer and his wife, Ginny of Richland, MO; one sister-in-law, Irene Meyer of Jacksonville, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Sears was cremated at Memorial Park Crematory in St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice or the Charity of the Donor's Choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343. With respect to Mrs. Sears' wished, no services will be held. A memory garden will be placed at the residence of her daughter in Elsberry.
