Obituary of Sharon Patterson

Sharon Lee Patterson Funeral services for Sharon Lee Patterson of Winfield, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Sue Jackson, pastor of Makin' Memorial United Methodist Church, officiated with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Patterson, Nick Abshire, Nate Abshire, Joe Runyon, Mike Best, and Patrick Spalding. Ms. Patterson, 61, died early Wednesday morning, April 28, 2004 at her home near Winfield. Born April 21, 1943 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Henry Elmer and Wanda Lee Christy Sellars. She was a 1961 graduate of Pattonville High School. She was employed as a machine technician for Reckitt Benckiser in St. Peters, MO, retiring in Jan. 2003. Ms. Patterson was preceded in death by her father, Henry Sellars. Survivors include two daughters: Danielle Patterson and Andrea Weicht, both of Winfield; and one grandson, Brett Weicht. She also leaves her mother, Wanda Crumley and her husband, Dorald, of Winfield; one sister, Karon Spalding and her husband, Vince, of St. Charles, MO; three nieces, two nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
