Bernadine Gertrude Kaiman A Mass of Christian burial for Bernadine Gertrude Kaiman of Old Monroe, MO was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Father Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, officiated with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Hogan, Dan Hogan, Tim Hogan, Mark Hogan, Mike Kaiman, Tom Kaiman, and Darrin Hillen. Mrs. Kaiman, 88, died Sunday evening, February 1, 2004 at Delmar Gardens on Chesterfield, MO. Born January 28, 1916 in Foristell, MO, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Gnade Dreisewerd. She was united in marriage on April 19, 1939 in Old Monroe to Leo Cornelius Kaiman. She was a member of the Alter Society and the Quilters at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Besides her parents, William and Mary Dreisewerd, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Edward Dreisewerd, Raymond Dreisewerd, and Elmer Dreisewerd; three sisters: Irene Dreisewerd, Anna Marie Dreisewerd, and Flora Dreisewerd; and her beloved husband, Leo Kaiman, who died November 12, 1996. Survivors include two sons: James J. Kaiman and his wife, Karen, of Chesterfield, MO, and Robert W. Kaiman of Old Monroe; two daughters: Jean Marie Hogan and her husband, Joe, of Winfield, MO, and Mary Lee Hillen and her husband, Ronald, of O'Fallon, IL; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters: Mildred Bauer of St. Louis, MO, Mary Dreisewerd and Margaret Dreisewerd, both of Old Monroe; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004 with a Rosary Service at 4:00 p.m. at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
